Apple has started a screen replacement program for the aluminum models of Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 3 after the company discovered that in some cases, these displays can crack.
Apple Watch Series 4 is not included in the program, therefore free screen repairs are not offered.
Apple says that whoever owns one of the affected models and reaches out to the company or an Apple Authorized Service Provider should have the screen replaced free of charge.
However, not all screen cracks are covered by the program, and the company provides detailed information on the actual defect that can get your display replaced for free (the photo at the end of the article illustrates the type of cracks in the replacement program).
