Apple is expected to focus heavily on AR and VR at the upcoming WWDC conference, and with the developer event just around the corner, a new job ad has been spotted hinting at possible new projects that Cupertino might be working on in this regard.
Apple is hiring a 3D UI Frameworks Engineer for the Technology Development Group (TDG), which according to the company itself should “help build frameworks that will drive the next generation of interactive experiences for our platforms.”
Headset coming in 2020 or 2021
According to 9to5mac, there’s a good chance that this job ad is related to Apple’s augmented reality headset, a project that the company is believed to be working on and which could see daylight in 2020 or 2021 the latest.
