The Apple Store is down as the Cupertino-based tech giant is getting ready to kick off the pre-order program for the new-generation iPhone.
Apple unveiled the new iPhone trio on September 10, and the devices will become available for preordering today at 5.00 AM PDT.
This is a welcome change, as Apple typically started taking pre-orders for the new iPhones at noon, so the company is giving interested customers more time to purchase the device.
“Staying up late is so last year. The good news is, now you don’t have to. This year, pre-order begins at 5:00 a.m. PDT. See you then,” the message posted on the Apple Store website reads.
Three iPhones going on sale this time
Apple launched three different iPhone models this week, namely iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, all successors to last-generation’s devices.
iPhone 11 starts at $699, so it’s $50 more affordable than the iPhone XR, which is the model it replaces in Apple’s lineup. iP… (read more)
