Apple’s recently-released iOS 12.1.1 introduces a bug that appears to be killing off mobile data for a number of users, and the worst thing is that the Cupertino-based tech giant knew about it before the launch.
A report from Forbes reveals that cellular data no longer works correctly on several iPhones after updating to iOS 12.1.1, and users explain the issue causes various behaviors on their devices.
While some say that browsing the web with Safari works, but connecting to the web with apps doesn’t, others state that a Wi-Fi connection is required to access the Internet no matter if they use the browser or various apps installed on their iPhones.
A fix doesn’t seem to exist for the time being, and users whose data connection no longer works should contact Apple and require assistance for fixing the problem… (read more)
