Swelling batteries on the iPhone 8 Plus are getting potential buyers concerned that the device could suffer from the same issue and either inflate or even burst into flames, with a report from South Korea indicating that some possible customers are planning to delay the purchase of the device.
The Korea Times writes that even though the iPhone 8 hasn’t yet arrived in the local market, customers are aware of the problems the Plus model experienced overseas and many of them are increasingly wary of the inflating batteries.
