We’re less than a month away from the moment Apple is projected to take the wraps off a new iPhone generation, and while most details have already made their way to the web, one thing that is yet to be settled is the name of the new models.
Previously, people with knowledge of the matter said Apple was reluctant to use the iPhone 13 moniker for a very simple reason: a superstition. The number 13 could be bad luck for Apple, so it was believed the company even considered skipping the iPhone 13 altogether and going directly for the iPhone 14.
Others said the Cupertino-based tech giant wants to stick with baby steps, so after the debut of the iPhone 12 last year, the company would no roll out the iPhone 12S.
