Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to receive a series of major design tweaks, including the highly anticipated demise of the notch.
That’s right, Apple is getting ready to kill off the notch, with the company to use a hole punch and pill cutout that will allow the front-facing elements to be integrated into the glass.
If you believe you’ve heard of the same approach somewhere else, it’s because you really did, as Samsung and other Android device manufacturers have been using punch-hole cameras for quite some time.
Getting back to the iPhone 14, a new set of schematics published by Max Weinbach on Twitter appears to confirm the upcoming smartphone will come with this important design change. The smartphones will also be ticker and come with a bigger camera bump.
