Apple will launch three different iPhone models later this year, and one of them is specifically supposed to be cheaper than the others, serving as the more affordable version of the premium models.
And while we do know that such a device is on its way, there are still no specifics as to how much it would cost, and all we have at this point are just guesses of people involved in the industry.
Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty says the LCD iPhone with a lower price tag could hit the shelves at $699, though she believes that there’s a chance that Apple increases the price to $769 if the company wants to improve the average selling price (ASP) by as much as 7.2 percent when combined with a starting price for the Plus-sized iPhone X of $1,099.
